If fine arts are what you're looking for, choose from oil paintings, hand-stitched art, wildlife paintings, calligraphy and more. Budding fashionistas can check out batik clothing, fashionable casual wear, funky shoes, hats and jewelry. Hand-carved wood furniture, pottery, spun metal sculptures, fabric handbags and more are available, with something for every budget. Each artist is on hand to greet enthusiasts and share the stories and inspiration behind their creations. Gaithersburg's Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is home to the "Festival of Food", where specialty vendors offer roasted almonds, natural dip mixes, balsamic vinegar, artesian cheeses and more for your pantry. You can also enjoy a hand-prepared meal while you watch one of our incredible live art demonstrations, where master craftspeople show you the techniques behind their work. You can also groove to live music from local and regional artists. If you're looking for a fun time for the whole family, then the Montgomery County Fairgrounds are the place to be this April!
