Celebrating 26 years, the Frederick Festival of the Arts invites art lovers to enjoy a showcase of the finest national artists. Vendors are hand-picked by local art enthusiasts, giving all who attend the best of quality fine art. Bring the family for food, music, and exceptional art!

Friday - 7-9 pm. Kick off Celebration featuring the Channel Cats. The Channel Cats have been performing throughout the region since the late 1980s when the band was formed in Cumberland, MD. The Channel Cats continue to entertain year-round with a mix of musical styles: soulful sounds from Motown, the doo-wop of the 50's, the danceable rock & roll from the '60's and '70's, as well as blues. Audience participation is always encouraged during the bands performances.
