Olde Tyme Christmas - Friday, December 7, 2018 at 6:30pm - The annual tree lighting event begins with Santa Claus arriving in Shafer Park as the small Holiday parade travels down Reeder's Alley, crosses Potomac Street (near the Potomac Street Creamery) and travels down Park Lane towards the Town Christmas tree. Children can visit Santa by the fireplace in the Community Center and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.

Holiday in Boonsboro - Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 8am to 4pm - Festivities will continue on Saturday at the Town Square and along Main Street. Families can visit the Fire Department and have breakfast with Santa. Many downtown businesses and churches will host Open Houses, offer Holiday specials and the Inn Boonsboro will provide tours and caroling. There will be Pop-Up Shops at the Hospice Community Life Center from 10am unitl 4pm.
