FSGW Mid-Winter Festival

The FSGW Mini-Fest is a delightful annual event that features banjos and bodhrans, washboards and waltzing, Schottis and shape note singing, English dance and Irish laments, Morris mayhem and more at the Takoma Park Middle School, 7611 Piney Branch Road, usually on the first Saturday in February. It features two all-day dance tracks, seven workshop and performance sites, plus unscheduled hallway shenanigans, and, in the evening, a concert and dance there's no better way to cure your winter blues!!
