| Description: | From 14th annual African Festival Website: 14th Annual African Cultural Festival FestAfrica 2016 to be held Saturday August 13th & Sunday August 14th from 1pm to 8pm on both days at Veterans Plaza 1 Veterans Place, Silver Spring MD, 20906 (Corner of Fenton St. and Ellsworth Drive). The festival is Free to the Public. Come with your lawn chair or stand and enjoy great performances, Rain or Shine!
FestAfrica is hosted by Afropolitan Youth Association and has grown to become DMVs largest African Festival with over 8,000 expected attendees. The festival will feature music by local and international African Artists and dance performances, African cuisine, vendors, games for children, and many more highlights. FestAfrica 2016 Theme: African Youth in the Community.
