Planning has begun for The 2nd Annual Southern Maryland Wine, Jazz, R&B and Funk Festival being held August 20, 2016. 2015 was a blast for everyone. Attendees got what they came for, food, shopping, games and of course the music. The weather was great. We set the tone and opened with a prayer by Pastor Darrell Godlock of Calvert County Baptist Church and went right into a great big welcome by the captivating, WHUR radio and former Black Entertainment Television host, Angela Stribling followed by our lineup of artists - back to back. The evening was led by radio host maestro, Tony Richards of WHUR. In between each set, DJ Eclipse kept the crowd dancing by doing what he does best.
