Welcome to a new Holiday tradition in Baltimore - German Christmas sails into Baltimore!

After a tremendous success of Baltimore's sister market - Christmas Village in Philadelphia, which developed within the 7 years of its existance into one of the world's 10 best Holiday markets - Baltimore got it's own version of a German style Christmas Village in 2013.

After a successful first season in 2013, Christmas Village in Baltimore returned in 2014 with an advanced event set up, a couple new vendors and great new attractions, such as a kids train, to Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The team is already planning the upcoming Holiday season 2015 and is looking forward seeing all its supporters and friends once again from November 26 through December 27, 2015!

Christmas Village in Baltimore is a combination of an outdoor and indoor Holiday Market at West Shore Park in the Inner Harbor. The event is modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany like the famous Christkindl Market in Nuremberg.

From Thanksgiving through December 27, 2015 vendors in more than 60 booths sell traditional European food, sweets and drinks. They also offer a great shopping experience with international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry and high-quality arts and crafts.

The outdoor area around the Walter Sondheim Fountain will bring the original Christmas Village charm with its traditional German style wooden huts to Baltimore. In addition a heated festival tent (60' x 180') will create a Christmassy shopping atmosphere with more vendors, a food court and an event space.

The unique atmosphere with thousands of lights, the big Holiday Tree, the delicious smell of waffles, gingerbread, bratwurst and mulled wine brings you and your family into the perfect Christmas mood.
