Bluebird Blues Festival

The Bluebird Blues Festival is an annual celebration held at Prince George's Community College in September. It has become one of the county's premier events. Each year, the festival attracts an average of 12,000 people, dozens of vendors, and national blues acts.

The festival includes two stages, a main stage with a headline performer and three nationally known artists; the smaller stage features three additional acts and a blues workshop conducted by a blues scholar.

Children can participate in face painting, roving artists, tattoo art and many other events sponsored by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Children's activities are held in Hallam Theatre.

Food and craft vendors offer an array of unique items and cultural delicacies from around the world. The event is free and open to the public. Alcohol and pets, excluding service animals, are not permitted. Bring your chairs and join us as we celebrate the blues!
