Description: Currently, the Black Heritage Art Show is the largest African American celebratory event held in the Mid-Atlantic region in the month of February (Black History Month), attracting more than 150,000 attendees,Since its inception in 1995, the Black Heritage Art Show, has provided a venue that allowed Artists and Craftsmen to bring their works to market in the Mid-Atlantic Region and at the same time allow Baltimoreans the opportunity to celebrate African American history and culture collectively during Black History Month. The show’s theme each year is: “A Celebration of African American Culture.”

Event/Application Rules and Regulations
THE APPLICATION PROCESS:
BOOTH SELECTION: With the exception of booths located in row 100, 2010 show vendors may select booth space on a first-come-first-served basis.
PAYMENT TERMS: A Payment Plan has been implemented to make participation in our Art Show affordable and easy to manage within your budget. A deposit of 1/2 is required at the time of application. All major credit cards are accepted. The Early Bird Specials are only available for individuals whose’ payment is made in full on or before Oct. 31, 2009.
MOVE IN: All Exhibitors will be required to move in on Frday, February 19, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A P.O.V. fee of $100 will be charged to all vehicles arriving between the hours of 4-7 p.m.. This fee is charged by the decorating company and must be paid at the time of entry into the loading dock area. BHA shall not be held liable for this payment and cannot collect fees on behalf of the Union loading dock laborers. All Exhibitors should be prepared to pay this fee at the time of entry should they arrive after 4 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2010.
LATE CHECK IN: No exhibitor will be allowed to move into the Baltimore Convention Center after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2010. (No Exceptions and No Refunds will be offered). No exhibitor will be allowed to set up their exhibit on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
DISPLAYS: All Exhibitors displaying artwork, must have their works displayed on display boards, covered tables or easels covered in black drape. No Exceptions. No works may be displayed from the floor or hung from curtains. Further, tents of any nature are prohibited for display purposes in the Exhibition Hall. By signing this agreement, Exhibitors understand that BHA and or its representatives has the right to request removal of all works, displays or exhibits that the show management deems inappropriate.
Fees:
Row 500 - $375 (10 x 10 sq. foot space + 6 ft. draped table)
Row 300-400 - $475 (10 x 10 sq. foot space + 1 6ft. draped table)
Row 200 - $575 (10x10 sq. foot space +1 6 ft. draped table)
Row 100 - $975 (10 x 20 sq. foot space + 2 6ft. draped table)

Silent Auction Donation:
Each artist agrees to forward to show management at least one artwork/craft valued at a min. retail value of $100. These donations will be auctioned for the purpose of raising funds for the shows non- profit benefactor, The African American Visual Arts Association to benefit its Art is the Key Scholarship Program. Artist will be offered a 100% tax deductible receipt.
